This is the drawing I'm working on at the moment and my materials! Let me introduce them..
Erasers:
I only use 2 as you can see. First, a kneaded eraser. I use it when I make a mistake that it's on a difficult area such as the beard in this case, and I need to do a very specific correction. And the second one it's an ordinary eraser but in a tube shape
Mechanical Pencils:
I like them even more than the wooden pencils, I think they're practical because you don't need to use a pencil sharpener. Each colour belongs to a different lead case in the photo
3 H pencil:
Just for skin tone. It has a grey colour that helps you to draw the shadows without getting too much dark, very useful
Leads:
Three different kinds:
2B: smooth. I use them when I want to fill in dark areas or just retouch face details such as eyes
HB: Intermidiate. Mainly for drawing the scketch before start shading
B: hard. Useful for hair, in this case the beard too. Also for thin details such as fabric patterns
